emblems?
Each letter emblem is approximately .75" in width x 1" tall. Some characters (such as the love sign, @ symbol, or & sign) may have a different width. - How does the quality of your letter emblems compare to my original factory emblems?
Our letter emblems are OEM quality, aluminum coated with PVC. Each letter includes a pre-affixed adhesive backing for easy, secure placement.
- How do I remove my existing factory emblems?
If you would like to remove your original factory emblem(s) before installing your unique or custom made emblem you'll need the following:
*Blow Dryer or Heat Gun
*Waxed Dental Floss/ Rubber wedge
*Damp Microfiber Towel
*Cotton Balls/Rubbing Alcohol
Step 1- Begin to heat your factory emblem from 4-6 inches away (spreading motion to insure even exposure to heat) for approximately 3-4 minutes with Blow Dryer, 1-2 minutes with Heat Gun. Small letter emblems should practically fall off, larger badge emblems may take additional time depending upon size. Most factory auto paint finishes can withstand
extreme heat from this distance/time period without any adverse reactions (fading/discoloration). However, others may not depending upon the age/quality of your automobile. Use your best judgement in regards to time of heat exposure to your auto finish. NOTE: Exotic Emblems will not be held responsible for any adverse reactions during any removal/installation process.
Step 2- If using Waxed Dental Floss begin a sawing motion on either left or right edge working behind the emblem until emblem is removed. If using rubber wedge be very carefull not to press the opposite edge of the emblem into our paint finish causing a blemish. Note: Some newer model vehicles
use additional emblem clips which are inserted into holes made in the sheetmetal. In this case grasp the emblem from both sides and carefully rock back and forth while pulling outward.
Step 3- Quickly and vigorously rub the excess factory adhesive residue with the Damp Microfiber Towel/cloth. Do not attempt this process with a regular terry cloth. For stubborn adhesive residue removal add a small amount of a
mild adhesive remover. Once the excess adhesive is removed use a standard rubbing alcohol and cotton balls to prepare the surface for your new emblem.
- Can I remove my unique or custom emblem in the future?
You should consider your emblem to be permanently attached. Attempting to remove emblems/ emblem letters is a process which should not be taken lightly. The risk of paint damage increases with every attempt to remove an emblem in the same area.
- Do you offer discounted pricing for multiple item orders, forum members or group buys?
Depending upon the quantity of items ordered at once/total order value we will consider offering a one time discounted price. This is generally accepted for mulitple item orders exceeding $500-$1000usd. If you feel your anticipated order may be eligible for a discount feel free to contact us prior to placing your order via e-mail at info@autoxclusive.com.
We do extend discounted pricing to affiliate owners forums/communities. Please have your forum admin contact us for more information. Group buys are always welcome.
Exotic Emblems will also run random sales events thoughout each year. Please keep your eye on our specials section each month for possible discounted items. - Are you willing to meet or beat a lower price I've found elsewhere?
We do offer price matching on many items. The item must be identical, including model number and components. The item must be in stock and available for purchase at that price from an authorized US reseller, whose authorization we reserve the right to verify. Please note that the competitors shipment charge is taken into consideration as well when offering a price match.
- Are all emblems in stock?
While the vast majority of our orders are filled within 24 - 72 hours, inventory levels do fluctuate daily and orders are subject to on-hand stock availability. You will be notified via email or phone about any backorder situation concerning your order that we anticipate will last longer than 5 business days. Backordered items will also be noted on your shipping invoice. Backordered items will be shipped separately upon availability at no additional shipment charge to you. - An item I'd like to purchase is marked "special order", what exactly does this mean?
Some of the emblems we offer are very high priced (Garson etc). In most cases these emblems will be ordered from our supplier overseas once your order/payment have been received. Special order items will be delivered in approximately 14-17 business days. - Do you ship your emblems outside the USA?
Yes, we are glad to ship our emblems to any destination in the world. The majority of our international shipments are sent via USPS (United States Parcel Service) 7-14 day service. USPS EMS (Express Mail Service 3-5 days) is also available for an additional charge. For your convenience we have integrated international shipment rates for all of our items into our website checkout. - I would like to place an order through your website, what are my payment options?
We have many payment options to choose from when checking out through our website shopping cart.
1.) We accept any major credit card through our secure payment processing gateway provided by the industry leader Authorize.net. 4.) Money Order/Cashier's Check. Upon website checkout our U.S customers may choose this option to send their order into a "Awaiting Payment" status. Your order will be shipped as soon as payment has been received and cleared into our company account. Please make Money Orders/Cashier Checks payable to Sherwood Automotive.
- Is your website checkout safe?

- I have placed an order with your company, how can I check the status of my order?
When placing an order through our website you must first create an account (username/password). After your order has been submitted you may login to your account from our website homepage at anytime to check the status of your order. All orders are manually updated by an employee through our admin panel. When the status of an order is updated from "Processing" to "Shipped" you will receive an automatically generated e-mail to the address provided upon account creation. You may update your account information by logging into your account at anytime.
